Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Social Bidz ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MEDIA HORIZON LTD (company number 171434833), the operator of Social Bidz.
2. Definitions
"Buyer" means a user who purchases a YouTube channel listing on the Platform. "Seller" means a user who lists a YouTube channel for sale. "Listing" means a YouTube channel offered for sale. "Escrow" means the secure holding of funds by Social Bidz until transaction conditions are met.
3. User Obligations
You agree to provide accurate information during registration and maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. Sellers must complete identity verification before listing channels.
4. Listing Requirements
Sellers warrant that they own the YouTube channel being listed, have the legal right to transfer ownership, and all provided analytics are accurate and current. Misrepresentation of channel metrics is grounds for immediate account suspension. Listing details and metrics are supplied by sellers; publication, seller verification, ratings, or reviews do not constitute a guarantee by Social Bidz that every claim is accurate.
5. Escrow & Payment
Funds placed in escrow are protected under the applicable transaction workflow. The buyer pays the channel price plus a 1.5-7% service fee ($2 minimum), with lower rates on higher-value deals. Sellers receive the agreed seller payout. Funds are released only after the required transfer, verification, ownership, and protection steps are completed. In case of dispute, Social Bidz's resolution team will review the available evidence and determine the outcome.
6. Prohibited Activities
Users may not engage in fraudulent activity, attempt to bypass escrow, list channels they do not own, manipulate channel metrics, engage in money laundering, or use the Platform for any illegal purpose. Violation will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
7. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between buyers and sellers should first be resolved through direct communication. If unresolved, either party may submit a formal dispute through the Platform. Social Bidz's dispute resolution team will review evidence from both parties and issue a binding decision. The decision will consider escrow terms, listing accuracy, and communication records.
8. Limitation of Liability
Social Bidz acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not directly liable for transactions between users. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for YouTube policy changes, channel terminations, or actions by third-party platforms.
9. Verification and Post-Completion Risk
Buyers must ask the Social Bidz escrow team to verify any specific ownership, analytics, monetization, engagement, or account information before the transaction is completed and funds are released. Social Bidz provides the protections reasonably available through its escrow workflow but cannot guarantee that a digital asset will remain safe after completion. This includes later recovery through third-party support, platform enforcement or policy changes, and undisclosed fake or artificially boosted engagement. Social Bidz does not inspect every listing as a store would. We recommend trading with verified, well-rated sellers and keeping all deal communication and evidence on the Platform. Social Bidz's escrow responsibility ends when the transaction is completed and funds are released.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time by closing the account. Social Bidz reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, pending transactions will be resolved according to existing escrow agreements.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
